The Sixth Army​

The Karno-Ruthenian Sixth Army is a permanent field army established on 18 May, 2016, during the reforms caused by the union of the Grand Duchy of Letzembourg and the creation of the Karno-Ruthenian Empire. The task of the Army is to defend the Grand Duchy of Letzembourg and the Kingdom of Acrin in the event of a national conflict or emergency.
The history behind the foundation of the Sixth Army begins with the foundation of the Armed Forces of Karnia-Ruthenia. The Imperial and Royal Army was founded on 26 November, 2014, as the Royal Army of Ruthenia. The Army was originally intended to serve as a defensive force to protect the national borders and territories owned by the Kingdom of.
After the signing of the Karno-Ruthenian Compromise of 2016, and the foundation of the Karno-Ruthenian Empire, the national military of the Grand Duchy of Letzembourg was officially disestablished. The Sixth Army and its inspectorate was created in June of 2016, and serve as a defensive force of the imperial territories in North America.
The only engagement that the Sixth Army has participated in is the Lundener Civil War, which still rages on today.
